Kagi Chart

Description

A Kagi Chart is a type of chart used in technical analysis that disregards time and focuses on price changes. It consists of a series of vertical lines that depend on price action, rather than on time like traditional charts. The thickness and direction of these lines change based on predetermined reversal amounts.

Specifically, the line turns thick when a new high is reached, provided the line was previously thin. It remains thick until a new low is made. Conversely, the line becomes thin upon reaching a new low and will stay thin until a new high is achieved, causing it to turn thick again.
